What filters should they have?
For the very small Covid-19 virus particles, you need a so-called Hepa-13 filter. Units in this class filter at least 99.95 per cent of the particles that flow through the unit out of the air. The filtered air is then almost virus-free.

Problem of air quality in classrooms
In about 90 percent of the facilities there is no mechanical ventilation system. Problems such as fine dust pollution, carbon dioxide concentration, mold or chemical substances in the air are the order of the day and now in addition the Covid-19 viruses!

How does the Kolk C5 work?
Phase 1:
Pre-filter for the coarse. The prefilter catches the larger dust particles and other polluting elements such as hair or dander.
Phase 2:
The HEPA13 filter is able to filter up to 99.95% of fine dust, pollen and bacteria from the air, down to a particle size of 0.1 micrometers.

Media filter with activated carbon absorbs a wide range of unpleasant gases and smells

Negative ion generator mat that has an antibacterial, fungicidal and antiviral effect.

UV light. The non-harmful 11 Watt UV-C5 Light Line filter removes harmful bacteria, viruses and mold spores using UV-C light, without releasing ozone. The broad spectrum UV-C light used in the Kolk C 5 can effectively eliminate bacteria and viruses. It destroys the molecular bonds that hold the genetic material of viruses and bacteria together and is routinely used to decontaminate surgical equipment. Coronaviruses hit by this UV light can no longer reproduce and harm anyone, according to scientists.
Phase 6:
photocatalytic HEPA filter renders viruses and bacteria harmless
BBased on a chemical reaction triggered by UV light, this air filter sustainably purifies indoor air with the help of released oxygen radicals by demonstrably decomposing and neutralizing toxins, viruses and bacteria by 99.9%, including the corona virus SARS-CoV-2.
Phase 7:
Plasma generator additionally removes further dust particles and destroys further viruses.
